Every day we see something new and fascinating emerging out of nowhere, has hardwork and dedication of those who rigorously worked to provide society with technology. The study and transformation of techniques, tools, machines and knowledge combined together forms the advances in technology. In the 1900s who thought we would be exploring The Red Planet? Who thought we could have Vacation in Space? Who thought Mobile phones would be a thing?
All of this, our entire life is based on technology right now, which continues to evolve with time. Right now we have Electric Cars, Smartphones, Super computers and what not. AI also offers some of the highest salaries today ranging from over $1,25,000 per year to $145,000 per year, making it the top new technology trend to follow. Machine learning, A subset of AI is also emerging to become a huge employment sector covering all major Industries.
Edge computing, pacing to new heights, can be a major technological change in future. Even with fascinating cloud services from Amazon, Microsoft and Google, Edge computing is the technology of the future, where abnormal amounts of Data can be stored and processed at remote locations with least to Zero Connectivity. Edge computing will act like a Mini Datacenter. Edge computing will increase with increase in use of Internet of Things (IoT). Study today shows that it will only increase and create massive job openings in future.
To add on, we have Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), which is not yet popular enough but will be in no time. VR immerses the user into an artificial environment and AR makes sure to enhance it for the user. As of now this technology is Used by the US Navy to simulate situations for Ship Captains, soon it will reach the entire world. AR and VR have a huge potential in training, entertainment, education, marketing, and even in the healthcare sector. Right now it is more into the gaming sector, soon it will create more opportunities in the trending technology, and welcoming more professionals.
Blockchain; another massive advancement in the data storage sector. It is described as data storage where you can only add to, not take away from or change any data. Unable to make changes it is rendered secure. Moreover, it is not controlled by any one individual. It’s main purpose as of now is in Bitcoin trading but it will expand. Blockchain demands specific individuals, as the adaptation increases, the demand of skilled professionals will also increase, The average yearly salary of a blockchain developer is ₹469K. To get into Blockchain, one must have hands-on experience of programming languages, the fundamentals of OOPS, flat and relational databases, data structures, web app development, and networking.
